Grammy and Oscar-winning musician A.R. Rahman is currently in France to attend the upcoming 72th Cannes festival. He is there to promote his directorial “Le Musk” (India’s first virtual reality film) presented by Intel at the Cannes Film Festival.
Like his other community persons, Rahman is also fasting in this holy month of Ramadan. After keeping Roja on Monday, he broke his fast at Cannes Film Festival.
Rahman shares a photo of his Iftar dinner on Instagram in which he is seen sitting and holding a glass of apple juice and salad kept on the table. He captioned the image, “8:51 pm iftaar”.
Rahman posted several photographs of himself from the Cannes festival.
He captioned one image as : “Experience “Scent of a song” from ‘Le Musk’ – A musical sensory experience presented by intel at Cannes Film Festival from tomorrow.”
Born as A. S. Dileep Kumar in Hindu family, he converted to Islam at the age of 23 with other members of his family in 1989, changing his name to Allahrakka Rahman (A. R. Rahman).
