Kamasutra 3D’ actress Saira Khan passes away

Actress Saira Khan who made her bollywood debut with controversial film ‘Kamasutra 3D’ passes away on April 19, 2019 following a cardiac arrest.

Released in 2013, the erotic film ‘Kamasutra 3D’ was first screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Saira had replaced Sherlyn Chopra in the film but remain unnoticed in the industry.


Saira’s sudden demise shocked everyone her ‘Kamasutra 3D’ director Rupesh Paul was left in a state of shock on getting this sad news.

Expressing his grief, director Rupesh said as quoted by DNA, “I found out about the news and was shocked. Later, I noticed that nobody had reported it and that was even more shocking. She deserved to be recognized for her performance and to remain unknown even after the brilliance she had is even more hurtful. It’s a mourning time for us and I hope she Rests in Peace.”

Praising Saira, Rupesh said that she did justice to his film ‘Kamasutra 3D’. He revealed that it was hard to convince her to sign the film but he was happy that she finally came on board.

“It was difficult for Saira to sign the film because she came from a very conservative Muslim family and to make a debut with such a bold film after all the fuss in the media about it was in itself challenging. It took us months to finally get her on board but the wait was worth it as nobody else could’ve done justice to the movie unlike her,” said Rupesh Paul.

It is indeed shocking to know about her sudden demise. May her soul rest in peace.
